1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Clippiant LLC collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects personal information when you use Clippiant.
In this Policy, “Clippiant,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Clippiant LLC. “Service” means our websites, applications, project-management tools, AI media-generation features, export systems, subscription features, help center, and related services.

When you create or edit a project, we may process information such as:

- Uploaded images, videos, audio, text, and reference files.

3.3 Billing information
We may receive your subscription plan, billing status, transaction identifiers, invoice information, billing country, payment-method type, card brand, expiration details, and the last four digits of a payment method.
Full payment-card information is generally collected and processed by Stripe or another authorized payment provider rather than stored directly by Clippiant.
3.4 Technical and usage information
We may automatically collect:
- IP address and approximate geographic location.
- Browser, operating system, language, and device information.
- Login, session, authentication, and security events.
- Pages visited, links selected, and features used.
- Export, generation, performance, and diagnostic logs.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully completed before withdrawal.
6. AI and Media Processing
Clippiant uses automated systems and third-party providers to generate and process media. Depending on the feature used, project information may be sent to providers that perform:
- Text and script processing.
- Video generation and rendering.
- Image generation and processing.
- Text-to-speech and voice generation.
- Sound-effect and audio generation.
- Cloud storage, hosting, delivery, and media processing.
Information processed for these purposes may include prompts, scripts, dialogue, narration, descriptions, uploaded files, generated assets, technical settings, and intermediate media files.
Do not submit passwords, financial credentials, government identifiers, health information, confidential business records, or other sensitive information unless you have a lawful basis, appropriate authorization, and suitable safeguards.
Clippiant is not intended to make automated legal, medical, employment, housing, credit, insurance, or similarly consequential decisions about individuals.
8. Payments
Subscription purchases and other payments may be processed by Stripe or another authorized provider.
Payment providers may collect billing details, payment credentials, transaction information, fraud-prevention data, and other information needed to complete a payment.
Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
10. International Data Transfers
Clippiant is operated from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where Clippiant or its service providers operate.
Where required for transfers from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we may rely on an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, contractual safeguards, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

- Store active projects and exports.
